What size skateboard trucks should you choose?
To keep your skateboard balanced, the truck width should match the width of your skateboard deck as closely as possible. Different truck brands use different sizing systems, which means the same deck width may correspond to different truck size names depending on the brand.

Low, Standard or Hollow trucks
Skateboard trucks come in different heights and constructions.
Low trucks
Lower trucks provide better control for technical tricks and are often paired with smaller wheels (50–53 mm).
Standard trucks
The most common height and suitable for both street and park skating.
Hollow and Titanium trucks
Lighter trucks with hollow axles or titanium axles reduce weight without compromising strength.
Truck height should also work well with the size of your skateboard wheels. For wheels larger than 56 mm you will usually need riser pads between the truck and the deck. Riser pads can be found under More Accessories.
