The right skateboard wheels make a huge difference to how your board feels when you ride. At Boardwalk you'll find skateboard wheels from brands like Spitfire, built for street, park and ramp skating.
Skateboard wheels come in different sizes and hardness levels, which affect speed, grip and how easy it is to perform tricks. Smaller wheels accelerate faster and are great for street skating, while larger wheels roll faster and handle rougher surfaces better.
Our range includes multiple sizes and durometers so you can dial in the perfect setup with your skateboard deck.

Skateboard wheel size is measured in millimeters and affects acceleration and top speed.
50–52 mm / Technical tricks and street skating
53–54 mm / All-round street and park
55–58 mm / Skateparks, ramps and more speed
Most skaters prefer 53–54 mm, since it offers a good balance between control and speed.
Skateboard wheels are often rated by durometer (A-scale) which describes how hard the wheel is.
101A / Fast and hard – ideal for concrete skateparks
99A / All-round – most common for street and park. Works well on both concrete and wood.
97A / Slightly softer with more grip. Softer feel on asphalt.
Harder wheels roll faster on smooth surfaces and make sliding easier, while softer wheels provide more grip and comfort.
For cruising and rough surfaces, softer wheels (78A–83A) are typically used. You can find those in our Surfskates & Cruisers category.
